Founded by Derek Thomas—a singer-songwriter, surfer, and certified breathwork, yoga, and meditation facilitator—Casa Soul Water was born out of a decade-long personal transformation. After walking away from a rising music career in Los Angeles to step outside the constant rush of performance and acquisition, Derek spent ten years living remotely across the Maldives, Indonesia, and Hawaii, hosting surf-travel experiences on private yachts and remote islands.
Through years of solitude, surfing, and Eastern practices, Derek recognized a universal need: a space where people could step away from the speed and noise of everyday life to reset, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
